About this product

Slows down the curing of Jesmonite AC100, AC200 and AC300, giving you more time to pour and finish. Ideal for larger or more detailed projects.

How to use

Fold in after mixing, before you pour.

  1. Mix your Jesmonite as usual.
  2. Fold in the chips or flakes and pour.
  3. Reveal sand the cured cast to expose the chips, then seal.

Questions & answers

How do you make a terrazzo effect?
Fold chips into a fresh Jesmonite® mix, cast as usual, then sand the demoulded piece while it is still soft to reveal the chips, and seal it once cured to bring the colours out. StoneRoxx and GlassRoxx are ready-made chips; you can also make your own from coloured Jesmonite®.
When can I sand my cast?
Sand as soon as you can, right after demoulding, while the cast is still relatively soft and easiest to work. Seal only once the piece is fully cured (24 hours).
