Making your first cast is easier than you think, and Jesmonite® is one of the friendliest materials to start with. It is...
Read the guide →Colour is where Jesmonite comes to life. Our pigment collection is selected specifically for Jesmonite casting: highly concentrated colour pastes for solid shades and marbled swirls, shimmering mica powders for metallic and pearlescent effects, vivid neon pigments that pop, and glow-in-the-dark powders for pieces with a surprise after sunset.
A little goes a long way. Most pigments are dosed at just a few percent of the liquid weight, so even a small pot colours many casts. Blend pigments together to mix your own palette, or drag two coloured batches through each other for the marble look that made Jesmonite famous. Combine them with terrazzo additives for speckled, stone-like surfaces.
Because Jesmonite is water-based, non-toxic and solvent-free, experimenting with colour is safe and practically odourless, ideal for workshops and home studios alike.
We stock the complete Jesmonite assortment, pigments included, at competitive prices. Order before 2pm for same-day dispatch, and if you are unsure which pigment suits your project, our friendly customer service team will happily point you in the right direction.
