Step 5 - Let's make a candle out of it
Fill your bowl with CandleRoxx candle sand, insert a wick and light it – no melting or pouring wax needed. Please note: the wick is not included.

Maak je eigen Jesmonite® kaarsenkom – een complete doe-het-zelfset om een kom met steenlook en een geschulpte rand te gieten en er een kaars van te maken. Geen atelier, geen ervaring en geen aparte boodschappenlijst: alles wat je nodig hebt om je eigen unieke kaarsenkom te maken, zit in deze doos.
Jesmonite Het is een gietmateriaal op waterbasis met weinig geur dat gemakkelijk en veilig te verwerken is. home Je mengt het, kleurt het, giet het in de mal en laat het uitharden – en je hebt een stevige, decoratieve kom die niemand anders heeft. Vul hem met kaarszand en je kaars is binnen enkele seconden klaar, zonder dat je was hoeft te smelten of te gieten.
Hoe het werkt:
- Kies 3 pigmenten – u kunt kiezen uit zwart, blauw, felgeel, felrood en paars.
- Meng de Jesmonite® AC100 vloeistof met de basis en voeg de gewenste kleur toe – één tint of een gemarmerde mix.
- Giet het in de siliconen komvorm en laat het uitharden.
- Haal de kom uit de mal, vul hem met het CandleRoxx-kaarszand, plaats je eigen lont erin en steek hem aan.
Wat is inbegrepen:
- Jesmonite® AC100 vloeistof (240 g) en basis (600 g)
- Herbruikbare siliconen mal voor een kom met geschulpte rand (ca. 15,3 x 4,8 cm)
- 3 Jesmonite® pigmenten (10 g per stuk) in de kleuren van uw keuze.
- CandleRoxx kaarszand (300 g, wit) – herbruikbaar: na elke keer branden plaatst u eenvoudig een nieuwe lont in hetzelfde zand.
Let op: een kaarslont is niet inbegrepen – u dient zelf voor een lont te zorgen.

Hoe gebruik je deze set?
Meestal gaat de tijd verloren aan het wachten op een geneesmiddel.
- Zorg dat je de vorm, een mengbeker, een roerstaaf en een digitale weegschaal klaar hebt liggen.
- Weeg 1 deel vloeistof af en meng dit met 2,5 delen basis. Roer 2 tot 3 minuten tot een glad mengsel ontstaat.
- Voeg een paar druppels pigment toe om de kleur te bepalen, of meng twee kleuren door elkaar voor een gemarmerd effect.
- Giet het water er langzaam in en tik dan tegen de vorm zodat de luchtbellen naar boven komen.
- Ontvorm het product en laat het na ongeveer 30 minuten uitharden; schuur de randen glad, laat het 24 uur uitharden en breng vervolgens een beschermende laag aan.
Vragen en antwoorden
Is Jesmonite® gemakkelijk voor beginners?
Ja. Jesmonite® AC100 is op waterbasis, niet-giftig en makkelijk in gebruik, waardoor het een van de meest geschikte gietmaterialen is om mee te leren werken. Zolang je de juiste verhoudingen afweegt en alles goed mengt, zou je eerste decoratieve gietsel voor binnen goed moeten lukken.
Heb ik speciale apparatuur nodig?
Je hebt geen speciaal gereedschap nodig. Je hebt alleen een weegschaal nodig voor de mengverhouding, een mengkom met roerstaaf en een siliconen mal. Een starterskit is de eenvoudigste manier om alle benodigdheden in één keer te verzamelen.
Heb ik een speciale mal nodig?
Siliconen mallen werken het beste omdat ze flexibel zijn en de mal er gemakkelijk uit te halen is, en ze kunnen vele malen hergebruikt worden. Een platte onderzetter of schaalmal is een geweldig eerste project, omdat deze snel te vullen en gemakkelijk te ontvormen is.
