How to use this mould

No release agent needed.

  1. Prepare keep the mould clean, dry and dust-free; silicone is naturally non-stick.
  2. Pour slowly in a thin stream, then tap and vibrate the mould so bubbles rise; pop any that surface.
  3. Demould when the cast is firm: AC100 about 30 min, AC84 about 2 h, AC730 about 4 h. Waiting a little longer makes it easier.
  4. Clean in warm water with a little mild soap, no abrasive sponges; dry completely before storing.

Can I use the same mould for Jesmonite® and Reslin®?
Silicone moulds are versatile and work with a range of casting materials. Follow the guidance for the specific material you are using and keep the mould clean between materials so residue does not affect your results.
