Accessibility statement
Unicraft BV (Gigacrea) wants everyone to be able to use gigacrea.com, including people with disabilities. This statement applies to the gigacrea.com webshop in all language versions.
The service
On gigacrea.com we sell materials and tools for casting and crafting: Jesmonite, Reslin, silicone moulds, pigments, candle and soap making supplies and craft kits. You can search and filter products, read product information and manuals, create an account, order and pay online, and follow your orders and invoices in My account.
Standard and compliance status
We aim for level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, as included in the European standard EN 301 549. The website is partially compliant with this standard: the items below are not yet fully accessible.
What already works
- The website works on computers, tablets and smartphones and adapts to the screen size.
- You can enlarge text up to 200% with your browser's zoom function without losing any content.
- Forms at checkout have visible labels, and error messages are shown as text.
- Prices, shipping costs and the total price are shown as text, not only in images.
- The website is available in Dutch, English, French, German and Italian.
What is not yet fully accessible
- Some texts and buttons do not have enough colour contrast with their background.
- Some links and icon buttons (such as the wishlist, social media and slider arrows) have no text label for screen readers.
- On product pages, some parts of the photo gallery and the variant selection buttons use ARIA roles that do not match the element.
- Some product photos have no alternative text.
- The order of the headings on the homepage is not always logical.
- Some buttons on mobile are small or close together.
We will fix these issues by 31 December 2026.
How we assessed this
Our own assessment on 15 October 2026 using the Lighthouse automated accessibility test on the homepage, a category page, a product page, the contact page and the shopping cart, supplemented by a manual check of the ordering process.
